HOW TO REGISTER?

STEP 1: PAY REGISTRATION FEE

Buy a “coupon” with a unique registration number at predpredaj.sk.

STEP 2: ENTER YOUR DETAILS

Use the code from your “coupon” and pre-register yourself/your pacer/your relay team.

STEP 3: REGISTER AT THE START LINE

Submit the documents and pick up your race pack.

REGISTRATION FEE (PARTICIPATION FEE)

NON-PARTICIPATION IN THE RACE

In case the runner does not participate in the race, he/she can transfer his/her number to another person, provided that all changes are made directly in the registration form no later than 15.8.2021. In case a non-participating runner or relay team does not transfer their registration to another person or relay team, their participation fee will not be refunded. 

HOW TO REGISTER A PACER

PACER is only allowed to accompany a runner in the STEFAIK TRAIL 140 race. Runners participating in this race can use a pacer from the Pezinská Baba aid station. All pacers can make full use of the aid stations (food, drinks, drinking water and drop bag service). 

Ultra runners must enter their pacers’ details into their registration form (see Step 2). If the ultra runner fails to fill in the form, pacers are not registered and are not allowed to participate, and the pacer’s fee won’t be refunded. Payment for a pacer can only be made at predpredaj.sk. The process is the same as when buying a ticket for the race bus. Each ultra runner can have maximum 3 pacers.
It is not mandatory to run with a pacer. Registration and payment for pacers can be made later, following the registration of the STEFANIK TRAIL 140 runner, but no later than August 15, 2021. Each ultra runner can use several pacers but only one pacer can run with him/her at a time. Pacers can take turns only at aid stations Pezínska Baba, Kamzík – buffets and Devín. If any participant violates this rule, he/she will be disqualified. Further rules and regulations regarding the use of pacers can be found in Section “
Regulations“.                                                       

IF NECESSARY, THE ORGANIZER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CLOSE THE REGISTRATION OR CHANGE ITS CONDITIONS (e.g. if the maximum number of entrants is reached, etc.).

GETTING A BUS TICKET TO THE START OF STEFANIK TRAIL 140
REMEMBER: Tickets for the bus operated by the organizer can be purchased as a separate item. Bus tickets from Bratislava to Bradlo on September 17, 2021 can be purchased at www.predpredaj.sk ONLY UNTIL FEBRUARY 28, 2021! The organizer WILL NOT provide any other transportation options.
THOSE who don’t buy a ticket until February 28, 2021 will have to arrange individual transportation. If you buy a ticket and miss or don’t board the bus for whatever reason, we will not refund your ticket.

 

REGISTRATION AT THE START LINE OR IN RUNNINGPRO.SK SHOP

This rule may be changed according to the development of the pandemic situation and related current regulations of the Government of the Slovak Republic and relevant institutions. The final modification of this rule will be sent to STEFANIK TRAIL 2021 participants by e-mail with other current news no later than 14 days before the start of the event.

All runners and relay teams must go through mandatory registration at the start of the race and at required times. We recommend that the runners show up at the start line at the beginning of the mandatory registration!

“We recommend that all participants present themselves at the start line as early as possible, as the start of the race will not be delayed due to a high number of runners registering at the last minute and all races will start as scheduled.

Each participant, with no exceptions, must present and submit čestné prehlásenie o lekárskej prehliadke at the registration before the start (or when picking up his/her race number) to the organizers. Failing to submit this document, the runner will not receive a race number and will not be able to compete, and he/she will not be refunded the registration fee. If the runner fails to present this document at the registration before the start, he/she will be asked to sign this document on the spot. All runners are required to sign this documents. Failing to do so, the runners will not be able to compete and their registration fee will not be refunded.”

ATTENTION!!!

Runners participating in STEFANIK TRAIL 40 and STEFANIK TRAIL 80 based in Bratislava are required to register in RunningPro.sk shop in Bratislava up to 2 weeks prior to the race. Further information will be send to them via email once the pre-registration is over (after August 15, 2021). 

 

PACERS will register at the start of their section before they set off (i.e. before the arrival of their runners at the aid station where they join them). Pacers need to bring to their starting aid station the required signed documents and a printed copy of a registration fee payment receipt, which was sent to them in a confirmation email from predpredaj.sk.

 

VERY IMPORTANT!

THOSE WHO FAIL TO REGISTER BEFORE THE RACE CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN THE RACE! IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO SEND A SUBSTITUTE OR FRIEND TO REGISTER THE RUNNER AT THE START OF THE RACE! ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO CARRY AN ID AND HEALTH INSURANCE CARD AND PRESENT THEM AT THE REGISTRATION. OTHERWISE THE REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE VALID AND THE RUNNER WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RACE AND HIS/HER PARTICIPATION FEE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. This applies to all individual runners and at least one member per each relay team.

At the registration before the start, you will:

  • Pick up your race pack, including your race number and chip
  • Pick up identification for support cars (individual runners 1 car, ultra relay teams 1 car, relay teams 2 cars)
  • Sign a declaration of good health and a confirmation that you familiarized yourself with the course and the participation requirements.
  • Sign a declaration of bodily injury and property damage liability for the duration of the race.
  • Be able to drop off drop bags (in waterproof cases) labelled with a race number and name of the aid station where they should be dropped off.
  • Drop off your bag to be transported to the finish. Only one bag or backpack allowed!
  • Be able to make a donation. Contributions will be counted at the finish line and donated to charity. We will inform you here and on our STEFANIK TRAIL Facebook page about the chosen project.
