What is the new alternative date for the STEFANIK TRAIL 2021 event?

17.-19. September 2021

Has the date of the last day of the sale of the entry fee for the event in the new September date also changed?

Has the date of the last day of registration for participation in the event also changed on the new September date?

Will this year be in the classic form as in previous years?

This year, the event will be significantly affected by the current development of the pandemic situation not only in Slovakia, but throughout Europe. The event will comply with all current guidelines and orders issued by the Government of the Slovak Republic and other relevant institutions.

What will happen if even 17.-19. September pandemic situation, current regulations of the government and relevant institutions will not allow the STEFANIK TRAIL 2021 event to take place?

In this case, the organizers will not look for another alternative date for the event for 2021, but will move this event to the date of 20.-22. May 2022. All registered runners and teams for 2020 and 2021 will be automatically considered registered for 2022. Their registration will be valid and they will no longer have to perform any additional administrative action for registration for 2022. Funds from the 2020 and 2021 registrations will not be returned, but will be fully invested into the event realization in 2022.

I want to run a different track than the one I registered for. Can I run another track?

Only if you make the change detailed in point 8.

How do I change the track if I have decided on another of the offered ones?

ONLY IN 2021, it will be possible to change the course (track) without further restrictions, especially without the right to a surcharge for the entry fee in case of a different entry fee.

When changing the track, it is necessary to proceed as follows:

STEP 1 

Contact predpredaj.sk (info@predpredaj.sk) by email with the information that you want to change the route. It is necessary to attach the voucher code from the already purchased entry fee and information on which new track (course) you want to run to the email. It is not possible to change the track (course) without attaching the voucher code of the starting original track!

STEP 2

The original voucher will be canceled by predpredaj.sk, and predpredaj.sk will send you a new voucher, resp. new voucher code with which you will register for the new route at https://registracia.stefaniktrail.sk/ticket/register

All other administrative tasks are handled by the organizer in cooperation with predpredaj.sk.

I am currently already registered, I have paid the entry fee, but I know that I will not be able to participate in the event on the current valid date. What are my other options?

In case of non-participation of the runner, it is possible to transfer the start number to another person, if the change of the start is made directly in the registration form by 15. August 2021, resp. until another end date of registration (if the end of registration by the organizers is determined for a new later alternative date). The organizer does not enter into the financial settlement process between the resigning runner / relay and the runner / relay to which the original registration is transferred. Illness, injury of a runner (individual or member of a relay), family member, resp. family or professional cases are not a reason to claim a refund of the entry fee.

I would like to offer registration to someone else. Is it possible?

Yes, it is possible. If the runner decides to transfer his registration to someone else, it is necessary for him / her to send a request for the transfer of registration by e-mail to registracia@stefaniktrail.sk. The application must include the following 3 pieces of information:

A / e-mail address to whom the current registration is currently kept,

B / code from the voucher purchased in predpredaj.sk,

C / e-mail address to which the registration is to be transferred

 

During the transfer, for reasons of personal data protection, all data of the original registration will be deleted. We will subsequently inform both parties about the transfer.

I paid the entry fee, but I can't attend the event. Can the organizer refund my entry fee?

No. The STEFANIK TRAIL event does not refund the long-term start fee due to the fixed costs of securing the event, which arise throughout the year of preparation for the event, not just before its immediate start. However, the organizer has long offered its clients the option of transferring registration to another runner until the last day of event registration 15. August 2021 (see points 9 and 10).

The reason for refunding or transferring the fee to another event / date is the funeral of a close family member (father, mother, sibling, son, daughter of a runner) in the week before, resp. in the week after the date of the event, or pregnancy of a registered runner, resp. relay members. Every application of this kind must be sent by the applicant to the organizer in writing to the email address registracia@stefaniktrail.sk. The application must include the applicant’s contact mobile telephone number. The application will then be resolved individually as soon as possible through an interview and e-mail communication between the applicant and the organizer.

I registered through predpredaj.sk but I don't see myself on the start list. What happened and when will I see myself on the starting list?

The exact registration procedure is described at https://www.stefaniktrail.sk/en/how-to-register/. It happens that the runner buys the entry fee, filling in the data necessary for the purchase of the entry fee (on predpredaj.sk) and mistakenly considers himself registered. However, after purchasing the entry fee, he will only receive an e-mail voucher and a unique code entitling him to take part in the race. The entry fee / voucher can be bought not only by the runner, but also by another person who can donate it further. Therefore, the actual registration of the runner / relay is separate from the purchase of the entry fee. Registration after purchasing a start / voucher starts at https://registracia.stefaniktrail.sk/ticket/register. The runner will use a unique code from the purchased voucher for it. After the initial entry of the code and the runner’s e-mail, the runner will receive an email with a login link. The runner clicks on this link and further registration of a specific runner / relay is easy. After filling in all mandatory data in the registration form, the runner / relay will appear on the updated start list here https://registracia.stefaniktrail.sk/competition within 15 minutes. If the runner followed this instruction and nevertheless did not find his name or the name of the relay on the starting list even within 24 hours after the end of registration, he/she must contact the organizer in writing to registracia@stefaniktrail.sk.

I paid for a ticket on predpredaj.sk. I received an e-mail and registered on the web, but registration does not work. What should I do?

It happens that the runner buys the entry fee, filling in the data necessary for the sale of the entry fee (on predpredaj.sk) and mistakenly considers himself registered. The entry fee / voucher can be bought not only by the runner, but also by another person who can donate it further. Therefore, the registration of the runner / relay itself is separate from the purchase of the voucher. I registered via predpredaj.sk. I received an e-mail with a registration number, but when I entered it in the registration, it told me that the ticket had already been registered in the meantime. What should I do?

It happens that you have already started the registration correctly, but did not complete it, and you need to complete or update the registration. In this case, you must log in with the e-mail address with which you added the registration at https://registracia.stefaniktrail.sk/login If you cannot log in with the email address and the ticket has already been registered in the meantime, contact us by email at registracia@stefaniktrail.sk

When I want to enter the code I received from predpredaj.sk during registration, it will tell me that the ticket code is invalid. What should I do?

It most often happens that a typo occurs when entering the voucher code. Therefore, make sure that you fill in the correct voucher code. You received it by e-mail after purchasing the entry fee at predpredaj.sk If the situation still recalls, contact us by e-mail at registracia@stefaniktrail.sk – please enter the voucher code you are trying to enter into the e-mail text.

How often is the start list updated?

The start list is updated every 15 minutes.

I made a typo in the surname in the registration, can you correct it please?

Only the registered runner is responsible for the correct entry of the information into the registration form. We’re sorry, but we don’t have the capacity to fix runners’ typos. The person who manages your registration (you or someone else) can easily and at any time log in to https://registracia.stefaniktrail.sk/login and correct the error in the registration. It will get there after the next update of the start list. No later than 15 minutes after the change is made.

I bought a starting ticket for a pacer (accompanying runner). I added it during registration, but I didn't have to enter its code anywhere. Is it not necessary?

Short answer – no. We only check whether the pacer has purchased a starting fee at the pacer’s starting point. Pacer must bring proof of purchase to his starting point! If the entry fee is not purchased, resp. will not be able to prove proof of purchase at the starting point, so the pacer will not be able to start.

We have registered for the route "RELAY VII", the maximum number of runners in the team is 7, but the cross-country sections on the route are 8. Is it true that one runner must run 2 sections?

Yes. It is up to you in the team to determine your own strategy for dividing sections in the team. Thus, it may be that a runner who will run two sections may run consecutive sections (e.g., 6th and 7th or 4th and 5th and the like), but may also run two non-consecutive stretches (e.g. 1. and 8. or 1. and 6. and the like). Choose your own tactic.

We registered for the "RELAY VII" route with three runners, but we do not see our team on the starting list. Why is it so? What happened?

It works. But the prescribed minimum number of team members on the “RELAY VII” route is 4. The maximum number is 7 members. Only relays registered in this way (from 4 to 7 members in 1 team) are validly registered. Relay with only 3 registered runners will not be allowed to start. After completing the 4th team member, your team will appear on the starting list.

Is it possible to buy a bus ticket from Bratislava to Sološnica?

No, it’s not possible. We have never offered this option in the sale or offer on the website. We do not rule out the possibility of including this option in the offer in future years of STEFANIK TRAIL MARATHON event. For 2021, this option is not available and runners will have to travel to Sološnica individually to start.

I want to ask you for a password to register. I did not manage to register the members of the relay, only the name of the relay and the captain of the relay. When I try it now, it tells me that the ticket code is already in use.

You can edit, add, change the registration at any time. All you have to do is log in at https://registracia.stefaniktrail.sk/login and enter only the email address with which you registered. You will receive a login link by email, and you can then add or edit everything you need. The changes will be displayed on the starting list within 15 minutes at the latest. Warning! Only relays that have a registered minimum required number of runners, a specified relay name and a designated relay captain are displayed on the starting list.

I bought the registration on day XY, I made the payment by card, I'm still not at the top of the list. What has happened?

Names on the starting list are written alphabetically, not according to the time of your purchase or registration.

I bought a bus ticket for "start Bradlo". Where should I register for it?

You do not need extra registration to take the bus to “start Bradlo”. However, you must print out the ticket you received by email and bring it with you to the bus, or at least bring an electronic proof of purchase. Before starting, you will prove yourself to the organizer.
